Illine Voegtlin, paralegal and office manager since 2002, is also known as “the Client Whisperer.” Ms. Voegtlin is always there for the clients of Smyth Law Offices. She is warm, attentive, a good listener and deeply empathetic to the needs of our clients. She is there to make sure that every client’s administrative needs and other supportive necessities are met. She is quick, efficient and knows how to get things done. Most importantly, she is the perfect liaison between our clients and our busy attorneys. She maintains the relationships between them and is always available, essentially, on demand. Whether it is providing notice of a court hearing, coordinating medical benefits or even coordinating parenting encounters, she is always “Johnny on the Spot.”
Ms. Voegtlin’s educational and vocational background is a strong one and ideally suited to serving the needs of Smyth Law’s clientele. She was born and raised locally, making her familiar with the customs, and sensitivities of the citizens of Boston and the surrounding areas. She attended Bridgewater State University, and graduated in 1987, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. She subsequently managed several major retailer chains in the Boston area.
Beginning in 2001, Ms. Voegtlin entered the legal profession as a paralegal. Over the past 16 years, she learned how to support and comfort our clients in the midst of experiencing a divorce, suffering from a terrible personal injury or unsettling business dispute, or facing an accusation of criminal conduct. She knows just what to do to make their passage through that often fearful, confusing and sometimes terrifying journey, far less traumatic. Call her anytime.
